On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the Mission Parish of Sts. Cyril & Methodius joyfully celebrated its second parish Slava. The event was marked by a beautiful liturgical service served by four priests: Protopresbyters-Stavrophores Aleksandar Vlajkovic, Djokan Majstorovic, Ivan Marjanovic, and Marc Vranes. Also, present was Protopresbyter Donat Augusta with Presbytera Eugenia. They were joined by three seminarians from St. Vladimir’s Seminary who assisted in the altar: Mihail Golic, Mihailo Vlajkovic and Pavel Kurganov. The Desanka Maksimovic Choir from Boston provided the liturgical responses, enriching the service with their singing. The church was filled with parishioners from Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Following the service, a festive luncheon was hosted by parish President Aleksandar Gogic, his wife Tanja, and their children, Stefan and Aleksandra. The luncheon program featured a heart-warming performance by the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Children’s Choir, along with two choreographies by guest dancers from the St. Sava Folklore Ensemble of Boston, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the celebration.
