On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the Philadelphia Orthodox Clergy Brotherhood gathered at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Elkins Park (Philadelphia) PA, to celebrate Great Lenten Vespers for the Third Sunday of Great Lent - The Sunday of The Cross.

Concelebrating were: Fr. Nicholas Dellerman (Albanian Archdiocese, OCA), Fr. Emmanuel Pratsinakis and Fr. Anastasios Bourantas (Greek Orthodox Archdiocese), Fr. Victor Gorodenchyk (OCA), Fr. Peter Proporski (Carpatho-Russian Archdiocese), Fr. Steve Hutnick, Fr. Taras Naumenko, Fr. Ivan Tchopko, Fr. Roman Marchyshak (Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, Fr. Andrew Rubis (Albanian Orthodox Diocese of the Americas) and host priest, Fr. Milorad Orlic.

 

The responses were gloriously chanted by the Pan-Orthodox Choir of Philadelphia under the talented directorship of Subdeacon Dan Drobish. Fr. Steve Hutnick edified all present with a wonderful homily on the Cross as The Manifestation of God’s love for us.

 

Following Vespers, all present enjoyed fellowship with a wonderful dinner organized by Protinica Jan Orlic, and the mothers of St. Nicholas Church School.
