NJEGOS CHOIR OF CLEVELAND BRINGS NATIVITY JOY WITH TRADITIONAL CAROLING
On Monday, December 30, 2024, the Njegos Serbian Singing Society of St. Sava Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio, as every year, went caroling to the parish and wider community to share the joy of the Nativity through song and personal visitation.
The day began with a visit to Saint Herman's House of Hospitality, where hundreds of homeless community members are given a hot meal every day, and others who reside at St. Herman’s. It was a joyous experience as our Deacon Milan Damljanovic translated the carols to share this joyous meaning with the crowd gathered at this Orthodox Institution.
Choir Kumovi and parishioners of St. Sava Cathedral, who are unable to attend Liturgy, were visited by the choir. The evening was concluded at New Marcha Monastery, where Sister Anastasia awaited the singers with her guests. A lenten meal was prepared by the Choir and shared at the Monastery in anticipation of the joyous Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
