On Sunday, October 20, 2024, following the celebration of the Holy and Divine Liturgy by the Reverend Presbyter-Economos Bosko Stojanovic, the Order of the Holy King Milutin, issued on the recommendation of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Washington-New York and Eastern America, by signature of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije on behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, was presented to Dr. Sally Radovick, who together with Dr. Fred Wondisford and family generously contributed toward the renovation of the Holy Trinity church and complex.
It was, indeed, a true honor for the parish of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Youngstown, OH (Laird Ave.) and community to have this prestigious award presented to one of its parishioners. Collectively, their donations include resealing the church dome, completely renovating, and remodeling the church school classrooms, purchasing a new set of ovens, stoves, and several pieces of equipment for the hall kitchen, as well as replacing sidewalks and parking lot, in addition to providing new priest vestments.
The Holy Trinity Church is distinguished, among all else, by the fact that it is one of only three churches that remains in function in the United States, which was blessed at the hands of St. Mardarije of Libertyville and All America. For this reason, such renovations are cause for joy and appreciation throughout the Eastern American Diocese and further.
May God grant Dr. Sally Radovick, together with Dr. Fred Wondisford and family, many years of health and prosperity for the kindness of their generosity!
