It was with great honor and privilege that the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox parish of Youngstown, Ohio awaited His Grace Bishop Irinej who served the Holy Friday services along with parish priest, Father Bosko Stojanovic.  Accompanying His Grace was reader John Bufalini, who assisted the Holy Trinity choir by chanting responses and lamentation prayers of the Holy Friday service. Very Reverend Dragan Zaric from Old Holy Trinity Church in Austintown joined us in prayer.  His Grace led the procession around the church with the Holy Shroud (Plastanica) of Christ’s burial service.  At the conclusion of the service, His Grace spoke of the pain Christ endured for the salvation of our sins.  His Grace's words described the crucifixion of our Lord which brought tears to our eyes, almost as if we were on Golgotha, experiencing this awesome and horrific night ourselves. It was a very moving and meaningful service which concluded with prostrations in front of Christ’s Tomb.
