"The great and renowned Zachariah rejoices radiantly..." is the beginning of the Kontakion that is sung on the day of the Conception of the Honorable Glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist John, and on the day of the Nativity of St. John, the parish of the Conception of St. John the Baptist in Paterson continued not only to sing to St. John their patron, but so the spiritual "light" is joyful and cheerful.

On Friday, July 7, 2023, there were many reasons for true spiritual joy, which reached its peak with the arrival of our spiritual father, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, who celebrated the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. His Grace was joined in concelebration by the Protopresbyter-Stavrophors Zoran Radovic of Elizabeth and Djokan Majstorovic, local parish priest, together with Deacons Darko Tripkovic and Vladimir Srbljak. Together with the present faithful people, glorifying the all-merciful and all-powerful God, who manifested His power, wisdom and miracle through the birth of the Forerunner and Baptist John from old and childless parents.

Bishop Irinej spoke about the Feast Day of the Nativity of St. John, after which he congratulated Deacon Vladimir on the anniversary of his ordination to the Holy Diaconate, with paternal love and with the thunderous singing of the hymn "Many Years".

The spiritual community continued by sharing an Agape Meal during which Bishop Irinej shared with everyone his great life experiences and spiritual teachings. Looking forward to the next Divine Liturgy and the next visitation of our Archpastor, our parish of the Conception of St. John the Baptist continues to liturgically glorify God and St. John the Baptist, our heavenly patron.

“Весели се светло Захарија Велики...” је кондак који се поје на дан зачећа Светог Јована, а на дан рођења Светог Јована, Црква Зачећа Светог Јована Криситеља у Патерсону наставила је не само да поје Светом Јовану своме заштитнику, већ и да се духовно “светло” радује и весели.

У петак, 7 јула 2023, много је разлога  било за духовно весеље које је доживело свој врхунац доласком нашег драгог духовног оца, Преосвећеног Епископа источноамеричког Иринеја, који је началствовао Светом Архијерејском Литургијом уз саслуживање високопречасног Протојереја Ставрофора Зорана Радовића из Елизабета и Ђокана Мајсторовића, месног пароха, са Ђаконима Дарка Трипковића, и Владимира Србљака. Заједно уз присутни верни народ, прослављајући свемилостивог и свемогућег Бога, који је пројaвио Своју силу, мудрост и чудо рођењем Претече и Крститеља Јована од старих и бездетних родитеља.

Преосвећени Епископ Иринеј је уз надахнуте речи говорио о празнику рођења Св. Јована, а на крају је са очинском љубављу и уз громогласно појање химне ,,многаја љета“ честитао ђакону Владимиру годишњицу рукоположења у ђаконски чин, потврђујући узраст у ђаконском служењу.

Духовна заједница је настављена трпезом љубави током које је Епископ Иринеј поделио са свима своје велико животно искуство и душекорисне духовне поуке. Радујући се следећој светој литургији и следећем доласку нашег архијереја, Црква Зачећа наставља да Литургисјки слави Бога и Светог Јована Крститеља нашег небеског покровитеља.
