On March 10, 2023, Friday Great Lenten Services - the Akathistos Hymn to the Mother of God in front of her icon “of the Three Hands” – Trojeruchica, was served by the clergy of the Washington Deanery of the Diocese of Eastern America. The guest homilist was Rev. Presbyter-Economos Christopher Rocknage of St. Nicholas parish in Steelton, PA. Responses were sung by the Serbian Singing Society “Lira” of the host parish, St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church of Washington, DC. The Great Lenten Service was followed by a Lenten Agape meal prepared for all of the present faithful.
