CLEVELAND ST. PETKA CIRCLE OF SERBIAN SISTERS CELEBRATES 97TH PATRONAL FEAST

On Sunday, October 23, 2022, the St. Petka Circle of Serbian Sisters commemorated its 97th Annual Patronal Feast – Slava, The Venerable Mother Paraskeva – St. Petka at St. Sava Cathedral in Parma, Ohio. The Divine Liturgy and Rite of blessing the Festal Offerings, was celebrated by the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Dragoslav Kosic, with responses sung by the Njegos Serbian Singing Society.

Known for their generous hospitality and sumptuous meals, the tireless Sisters prepared the traditional Agape Banquet, which followed the liturgical celebration, in the Church Hall of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral.

The President of the Circle of Serbian Sisters, Stanka Nikolic, warmly greeted the many guests at the 97th Slava. Hosting the celebration were Kume Bosa Devic and daughter Olivera Radivoj.

May God grant our dear Sisters, who work so diligently and with great sisterly love for their Cathedral parish family, many years of health, happiness, prosperity and furtherance in all good things.
