The evening of Tuesday, May 10, 2022, when we commemorate the Burning of the Relics of St Sava on Vrachar, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America joined His Grace Bishop Dimitrije, together with other hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church, in the solemn Doxology, welcoming His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije to the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral.
 
On the second day of his visit to the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, on the feast day of the Holy Apostles Jason and Sosipater, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije celebrated the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of our Lord in Trebinje.
 
His Holiness was joined in concelebration by His Eminence Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Bishops: Justin of Zhicha, Atanasije of Mileshevo, Grigorije of Dusseldorf and Germany, David of Krushevac, Irinej of Eastern America, Hilarion of Timok, Dimitrije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, Isihije of Valjevo, Metodije of Budimlja and Nikshich and Vicar Bishop Stefan of Remesiana.
