SUNDAY LENTEN VESPER SERVICE IN SHEFFIELD

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, the clergy and faithful of the Cleveland Deanery gathered on Sunday, March 27, 2022, for a Lenten vesperal service at the monastery of St. Mark in Sheffield, Ohio.

 

After the vespers service, Father Dragoslav Kosic, parish priest at the St. Sava Cathedral in Parma, Ohio, addressed the faithful with a sermon on the meaning of the cross and our own trials and tribulations.

 

Sincere gratitude is herein expressed to the Very Reverend Archimandrite Leontije (Alavanja), Abbot of the monastery, all of the faithful and to all who served: Economos Dragan Goronjic, Episcopal Dean, Protopresbyter Dragoslav Kosic, Protopresbyter Milan Pajic, Economos Aleksa Pavichevich, Presbyter Mark Resanovich, Presbyter Bojan Banovic, Protodeacon Ljubisa Mitrovic and Deacon Milan Damljanovic, as well as to Hieromonk Nektarije (Tesanovic), who led in the chanting of hymns, and the members of the Njegos Serbian Singing Society of Cleveland, who offered the responses.
