The health and safety of our Shadeland campers, their parents, and families, as well as our devoted clergy, staff, counselors and volunteers remain our top priority. The Shadeland Management Committee continues to monitor federal, state, and local guidelines for camp programs.
As many considerations are being brought into focus, whether it be in-person, virtual, or even postponed in favor of Winter Camp, please continue to check this website in the upcoming weeks for decisions regarding the 2021 Summer Camp Season at Shadeland.
You are in our hearts and prayers, and we miss you all!
The Shadeland Management Committee
Due to the continued presence of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) and the stringent CDC restrictions placed on children’s summer camps, kindly be advised that our annual 4-week Shadeland Camp season has been cancelled for this year, 2021.
Although many among us have been vaccinated, out of an abundance of caution and with particular attention to the health and wellbeing of our campers and parents, staff, clergy and volunteers, this decision has been rendered to mitigate any risk associated with potential exposure to and transmission of this virus.
In like manner, it is our most sincere desire to return to our beloved Shadeland Camp, however, only when we can present our children and everyone with the fullest and safest camp experience possible. Therefore, let us all pray for a joyful and meaningful return in 2022!
As we continue to pray that the Coronavirus is contained, suppressed, and conquered through public health management, it is our obligation to act responsibly and in the best interest of all involved.
GOD WILLING, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AT SHADELAND!
