His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, received His Excellency Anthony Godfrey, the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Serbia on 12 March 2021 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade. 

Ambassador Godfrey on behalf of the United States of America congratulated His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch the enthronement to the throne of the primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, wishing him good health and success in spiritual success in spiritual care for the faithful people entrusted to him. Serbian Patriarch Porfirije thanked him for the congratulations and good wishes, emphasizing that he appreciates Ambassador Godfrey's efforts to improve Serbian-American relations. 

The audience was attended by Vicar Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, Political Counselor of the Embassy Michael Kelleher, Politican Secretary of the Embassy Thomas Lee and the Head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch Deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, Ph.D.

Његова Светост Патријарх српски г. Порфирије примио је 12. марта 2021. године у Патријаршијској резиденцији у Београду Његову Екселенцију Ентонија Годфрија, амбасадора Сједињених Америчких Држава у Републици Србији.

Амбасадор Годфри је у име Сједињених Америчких Држава честитао Његовој Светости Патријарху српском г. Порфирију устоличење у трон поглавара Српске Православне Цркве, пожелевши му добро здравље и успех у духовном старању за поверени му верни народ. Патријарх српски г. Порфирије је захвалио на честиткама и лепим жељама, нагласивши да цени напоре амбасадора Годфрија на унапређењу српско-америчких односа.

Пријему су присуствовали викарни Епископ ремезијански г. Стефан, политички саветник Амбасаде Мајкл Келехер, политички секретар Амбасаде Томас Ли и шеф Кабинета Патријарха српског ђакон др Александар Прашчевић.
