Високопречасни протојереј-ставрофор Радивоје Панић, у уторак вече, 17. новембра 2020 г. је говорио у црквеној сали парохије Св. Саве у Ст. Питерсбургу о значају личности Св. Сваве у нашем народу и о завршним радовима на храму Св. Саве на Врачару.

Благословом Преосвећеног Владике Иринеја прота Радивоје тренутно замењује проту Милана Јовановића на парохији Св. Ђорђа у Клирвотеру.

Ово дивно вече било је уприличено за омладину (тинејџере) парохије Св. Саве у Ст. Питерсбургу на Флориди.

У свом уводном слову прота Радивоје је говорио о животу Св. Саве и светородној лози Немањића, поменувши задужбине који су биле и остале центри наше духовности и писмености. Говорећи о тешком времену које је настало за наш народ после Косовске битке 1389 г. прота је поменуо заслужне прваке који су се борили за ослобођење нашег народа из турског ропства. Турци да би угушили сваку побуну и заплашили наш народ 1594. године, спали тело Светога Саве у Београду, на Врачару. Свест народа и приврженост личности Св. Саве дала је повода да наш народ отпочне 1984. изградњу храма Св. Саве на Врачару, који је ето ових дана засијао у свом пуном сјају. Приказујући слике мозаика и објашњавајући детаље, прота је рекао је да је мозаик радило у једно време око 400 људи. 

У свом излагању прота је помену да је преко десет година служио у Приштини на Косову и Метохији где и сада често одлази.

На крају овог дивног дружења прота је благословио децу и замолио их да у наредно време када буду долазили у Србију обавезно дођу у Храм Св. Саве, и да ће их он радо примити и показати Храм. 

Парох цркве Св. Саве у Ст. Питерсбургу отац Драган се захвалио проти Радивоју на дивном предавању, а деци на показаном интересовању.

Conversation about Faith with Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radivoj Panić

The Very Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Radivoj Panić on Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 spoke in the church hall of the parish of St. Sava in St. Petersburg on the significance of St. Sava in our nation and about the final work on the church of St. Sava in Vračar.

With the blessing of his His Grace Bishop Irinej, Proto Radivoj is currently replacing Proto Milan Jovanović at the parish of St. George in Clearwater.

This wonderful evening was organized for the youth (teenagers) of the parish of St. Sava in St. Petersburg, Florida. In his introduction, Proto Radivoj spoke about the life of St. Sava and the holy lineage of Nemanjić, mentioning the endowments that were and remain the foundation of our spirituality and literacy. Speaking about the difficult time that arose for our people after the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, Proto mentioned the deserving champions who fought for the liberation of our people from Turkish slavery. In order to quell any rebellion and intimidate our people in 1594, the Turks burned the body of Saint Sava in Belgrade, on Vracar hill. The consciousness of the people and the devotion of the person of St. Sava gave the incentive for our people to, in 1984, start the construction of the church of St. Sava in Vračar, which now shines in its full glory. Showing photos of the mosaic and explaining the details, Proto explained that about 400 people worked on the mosaic at one time.

In his presentation, Proto mentioned that he served in Priština in Kosovo and Metohija for over ten years, where he often visits even now.

At the end of this wonderful gathering, Proto Radivoj blessed the children and asked them to visit the Church of St. Sava in Vračar the next time they come to Serbia and that he will gladly receive them and show them the Temple.

The parish priest of the church of St. Sava in St. Petersburg, Father Dragan thanked Proto Radivoj for a wonderful lecture, and for the children for their interest.
