On October 15th St. Nicholas Church in Monroeville received a new parish priest, Fr. Stefan Djoric. He served previously at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Steubenville before his transfer. 

St. Nicholas Church in Monroeville, which is known for its hospitality, organized a welcoming party for Fr. Stefan, his wife, Popadija Marina, and their daughter Saveta. The welcoming party coincided with the Sveta Petka kolo slava which was a wonderful occasion to share love and communal joy (under the guidelines for COVID-19)  in these days when we all are suffering from a lack of community events. 

In addition to preparing a big cake to welcome Fr. Stefan and his family, the Sv. Petka Kolo prepared wonderful Serbian food, and of course sljivovitza was served to all who could come to welcome Fr Stefan and his family. 

St. Nicholas Church wishes Fr. Stefan, Popadija Marina and their daughter Saveta many blessed years with them!
