Serbian Days - Saint Petersburg FL

One of the most important events in the life of Orthodox Serbian believers in Florida is the Serbian Festival, which is held every first weekend in October (October 7-8, 2017). Organized by the parish of St. Sava, this event attracts a large number of visitors not only from St. Petersburg, but also from other parts of Florida. With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irinej, this year the newly-installed parish priest, Rev. Dragan Zaric, was also present with his family at the festival. The central moment was certainly the weekly Holy Liturgy, which was served on Sunday by Rev. Dragan Zarić, along with Very Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Miloje Raičević and Rev. Siniša Hrvačević. The choir sang beautifully, and a large number of believers received Holy Communion. The festival program was rich and included the parish folklore group "Serbian Biser", music, singing, dancing, and socializing, as well as famous Serbian culinary specialties. It was truly an unforgettable two-day event!
