Pittsburgh Tri-State Committee for Lifeline Chicago
The Chicago Office of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization supports the work of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia. Lifeline was founded by Princess Katherine in order to provide critically needed humanitarian aid to the neediest people of Serbia. The goal of Lifeline is to reduce and relieve the suffering of physically and mentally disabled children, orphans, the elderly as well as to improve medical facilities in the country.

In the Diocese of Eastern America, a committee functioning as the Pittsburgh Tri-State Committee for Lifeline Chicago has representation and support from many of local parishes of the Eastern American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as the Eastern American Diocese itself. Thus far close to $200K has been raised by the Tri-State Committee. It is anticipated that at a planned Fundraiser for April 2017, this amount will increase to a quarter million dollars.

In the attached is a report furnish by Melanie Sever, Treasure of Lifeline Chicago, showing projects completed in various areas of Serbia during the year 2016 with funds raised by the Tri-State group.
