Clearwater, FL - St. George held it’s annual Serb Fest in Clearwater, Florida. It is a three-day event every November and this year the congregation celebrated 20 years of holding this Festival. There were delicious foods such as karma, goulash, Serbian baked beans and baked goods. The grill also offered a variety of delacasies!
Children and adults alike got to enjoy the carnival filled with many rides and games for all enjoy. Entertainment everyday on the main stage from various dance groups from the Tampa Bay area and abroad. There were visitors from Chicago, Sarasota and Miami. A choir of parish children sang on stage during the fest to the delight of the crowds.There was a display filled with wonderful facts, photos to showcase Serbian Heritage and culture. There was bubble soccer, church book store and Fr. Peter Tutko gave tours of our church. Thanks to the church board, the Kolo sisters and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly for a successful festival.
