On Monday, September 22, 2025, a commemorative vigil was held honoring the memory of the tragically slain Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, North Carolina.

With the blessings of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Washington-New York and Eastern America, Presbyter Srebrenko Vidakovic addressed over 1,000 assembled mourners on behalf of St. Simeon the Myrrhobletes Serbian Orthodox Church and the Eastern American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
