GROUP FROM COLUMBUS VISITS MONASTERY MARCHA

Richfield, OH - Diane Grahovac of St. Stevan of Dechani Serbian Orthodox Church of Columbus, Ohio organized the women from the parish's Circle of Serbian Sisters on a pilgrimage to Monastery Marcha on Saturday November 13,2004.

The women began their visit at the monastery with an Akathist to the Most Holy Mother of God. They were treated to lunch, during which time they engaged in discussion on the spiritual life. Among the ladies from Columbus on this spiritual journey to the monastery was 90 year old Mrs. Millie Kovaka.

The ladies enjoyed their stay and the spiritual atmosphere of the monastery.  The abbess of the monastery, Mother Ana, together with the sisters Anastasija and Barbara, always enjoy having visitors.  In fact, the group from Columbus discussed a possible second visit, a retreat sometime after the Thanksgiving holiday.
