With the blessing of His Grace Irinej, Bishop of Eastern America, the parish community of Holy Trinity in Youngstown served the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts on Wednesday, March 22nd during the fourth week of Great Lent. Faithful throughout the Cleveland Deanery were able to participate in this prayerful gathering, spiritually edified by the beautiful service and strengthened in faith through Holy Communion.
The Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was concelebrated by Rev. Presbyter Boško Stojanović, the interim pastor of Holy Trinity (Laird) in Youngstown, and Rev. Presbyter Vedran Grabić, the interim pastor of St. George in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Responses were offered by Rev. Presbyter Dragan Goronjić, Dean of Cleveland and Host-Priest; Very Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Djordje Mileusnić, the interim pastor of St. Demetrius in Akron; Ven. Protosindjel Sava (Medeković), priest of the New Marcha Monastery; Very Rev. Protopresbyter Milan Pajić, interim pastor of St. Archangel Michael in Akron; and Very Rev. Protopresbyter Dragoslav Kosić, interim pastor of St. Sava Cathedral in Cleveland. The clergy were joined in prayer and response by a group of faithful believers from throughout the Deanery.
The Rev. Presbyter Dragan Goronjić, as the host-priest of this liturgical celebration, prepared a Lenten meal so that all those present for the Liturgy could continue their communion of fellowship and love.
